Just Trust Him

God has a plan for your life.  Do you believe that?  To believe is to trust.  Do you trust God?  Do you trust that He's able to do the impossible in your life?  Do you trust that He has a plan for your life?  A plan far greater than anything you could ever imagine or dream of.

Sometimes it's hard to trust when you have a past that has taught you anything but that.  Maybe you've been hurt by someone.  Maybe someone made you a promise they couldn't or didn't keep.  I think we tend to judge God by what others have done to us.  I know I have.  I've been hurt alot, and trust comes hard for me.  But with each passing day...the more time I spend with God, the more I learn about Him, the closer I get to Him...the more I love Him and trust Him.

He doesn't want us to worry, to stress, and He doesn't want us to figure it out.  He wants us to just trust Him and know that everything will work out for the best.  He tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you... thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

God will meet your needs.  He will answer your prayers.  Everything may not come in the exact package that you wanted, but God will give you what He thinks is best for you.  And it may take a little longer than what you wanted, but it will come to you in God's timing.

Have you ever considered that maybe He closed that door because He knew you were worth so much more?  And maybe He knew that what you needed would be better suited for another time.  God knows what He's doing, and He's looking out for your best interests.  We just don't always see that.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess.  Just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.  So keep praying, keep trusting, and God will make good on His promises.
